4. Click on “Next” to go on to the next step.

5. A summary of the configuration will appear.

6. Click on “Next” to go on to the next step.

7. You can now see your modem interface on the list of interfaces in the menu.

8. In Advanced properties, you can set the active status of the connection to “permanent” or “if

there is traffic (on demand)”. The second option means that the connection will be activated if

the NETASQ firewall detects traffic.
